This is a very simple sauce that can easily increase the ratio of a meal. It is delicious on almost everything! Try it over steamed veggies, grilled chicken or shrimp, or broil a piece of fish in a ramekin covered with this easy Alfredo Sauce. Make a large batch and keep on hand to use through the week. 2 Tablespoons (28 grams) Butter
1 teaspoon (2.5 grams) garlic powder
1 cup ( 238 grams) 36% Heavy Cream
1/2 cup (50 grams) grated Parmesan Cheese - 100% cheese
1In a small pot, melt the butter over medium - low heat.
2Add the garlic powder to the butter and gently heat until fragrant.
3Add the heavy cream and parmesan cheese to the butter and garlic. While stirring, heat the cream and cheese just until the cheese has mostly melted. Be careful to not boil the cream. Season with salt and pepper or add finely chopped fresh parsley if you wish. Remove from the stove and store in a glass container or serve.
